PoC Concept

From DocWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Proof-of-Concept (PoC) is a limited stand-up of a technology and functional solution, sometimes synonomously called a pilot. Key aspects of the commercial system are shown, but often with a limited scope or functionality. The unstated parts of the PoC generally are already proven or low-risk extensions of what is in the demonstration. PoCs are often used as the basis for allocating further budget and committing to longer-term, longer-scale efforts.
