The Information Architect leads up the Information Development Domain and is responsible for understanding documentation, quality and management of information across the enterprise. The Information Architect is responsible for developing a strategy and framework to address data at rest (i.e., in databases), in motion (i.e., in messages) and at delivery points (i.e., interfaces).

The Information Architect leads the definition of Information Architecture. Information Architecture defines the required information and the manner in which it should be accessed and managed. It also defines the way in which all data should be structured, organized, created, moved and managed.
